Last updated: October 14, 2026

Numii Nutrition is a virtual nutrition practice serving clients across Alberta. Care is provided by Katie Tkaczyk, Registered Dietitian, College of Dietitians of Alberta, Reg. #3265. Protecting your privacy is part of providing good care. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe.

As a Registered Dietitian, Katie is a custodian of health information under Alberta's Health Information Act (HIA). We follow the HIA and the College of Dietitians of Alberta's standards for privacy, confidentiality and record keeping.

How we use your information

How we protect your information

How long we keep it

As required by the College of Dietitians of Alberta, client records are kept for at least 10 years after your last appointment. For clients under 18, records are kept for at least two years after they turn 18, or for 10 years, whichever is longer. Records are then securely destroyed. Contact form messages and emails from people who do not become clients are deleted once they are no longer needed.
